Fitting In edition by Rebekah Morris Religion Spirituality eBooks

It's been a while since I read this story, but I remember I liked how well the characters portrayed living peaceably with each other and caring for others. It was written well and gave me a feeling of being on a little homestead. Thanks, Rebekah, for writing this story!

Fitting In edition by Rebekah Morris Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews

"Fitting In" is a very enjoyable short story to read! Though not my favorite of Rebekah Morris' books, it is very clean in it's content, touching in the story plot, and overall a nice read! This book would make a great read aloud to children, especially with its great character lesson!
This little story was so sweet! I fell in love with Paul and Elizabeth from the beginning. This book was just so clean and encouraging. I love Elizabeth's tender heart and how she clearly grows in her Christian life throughout the book, going from being sorry she does not "fit in" to understanding what that truly means. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a great blessing to me.
A short, sweet story. It took me only a few minutes to read this (maybe a half hour), and it was one of those satisfactory reads. Of course, as with any short story, finding out more about the characters or developing the story more would just bring more satisfaction, but as a whole the story was complete.

When Elizabeth is shunned by the town, she turns to one family who would accept her, which then leads her to face-off the town in a way she didn't expect.

Fitting In, the third work I have read by Miss Morris, was quite endearing. Although not a favorite of mine, it was an enjoyable short-story with a great lesson. The writing reminds me somewhat of Janette Oke's – with a style of lovely and unique simplicity.

Elizabeth was a kind young woman and a relatable character. Her struggles with not fitting in and feeling like an outcast were realistic. I was cheering for her so much at the end!
Her husband, Paul, was super sweet. I loved how he called Elizabeth "Libby" and talked to his horse, Sir Drake. He was very supportive of his young wife. )
The Boice family were all so dear and sweet!! I loved their return to the community – thanks to Paul, Elizabeth, and God the Father. )

The one thing that confused me, though, was how Paul and Elizabeth were sometimes referred to as Mr. and Mrs. Leffler. Yes, that's their last name, but it confused me to have them called by first name one sentence and spoken of formally the next.

That aside, it was a light, quick, and enjoyable read. ) I would certainly recommend it to someone who enjoys short-stories of people standing up for what's right!

"Fitting In" is a nice, fun short story, and it is well written. I haven't read many books by Rebekah Morris, but I really want to read more of her books!
